Torsby Sportcenter

Torsby Sportscenter offers a wide variety of tracks and trails for running as well as skiing. We have all types of tracks; short, long, easy, hard, varied terrain, you name it, we got it! Our shortest track is 2.5 km long, but if you want something that is more of a challenge you can try the 25 km long "Hovfjällsturen" or any of our middle distance tracks.
In total we have over 50 km maintained ski tracks during the winter including 5 km with artificial snow and lighting.
Roller Ski Tracks
Here are some tough and varied tracks for roller ski training where you do not have to worry about car traffic. In total there are about 4.5 km asphalted and illuminated tracks.
Bike Paths and Trails
The latest addition to our vast selection of tracks is our new mountainbike trail. Today there are over 180 km of trails and during the spring, we will be adding even more. The new trails will be attuned for the "Vasa cyclist". In addition to the mountainbike trails you always have the possibility to explore the rest of Fryksdalen by bike and enjoy its scenery. Gym for endurance and strength training In Valbergsängen Sporthotell the guests get access to a gym covering 200 square meters. In the gym you will find everything you need for improving upon both your strength and endurance.
Shooting Range
At Torsby Sportcenter you can find 2 shooting ranges. The smaller indoor range is in direct connection with the ski tunnel and have 6 shooting stations available.
We also have a 30 station range outside. The outdoor shooting range is built according to international standard and a tournament license is available for big scale tournaments. The Euro Cup and the Junior World Championships have both been hosted here.
Test Center
Next door to the skitunnel is our Test Center. Here you have access to advanced equipment and the can perform various strength and fitness tests. Some of our recurring customers are the cross country- and biathlon elite skiiers, the hockey team Färjestad BK and our local firemen. Anyone can schedule an appointment in the Test Center.
Sports Store
In the ski tunnels lobby you can also find Allsport. Allsport can provide you with rental equipment from a wide variety of manufacturers, new equipment, service of your current equipment, e.g. stone grinding and preparation of your skis. The experts at Allsport will make sure you always get the right equipment for your specific needs.
Torsby Sporthotell
Torsby Sporthotell can offer you comfortable living in neighbouring facilities with the ski tunnel. The hotel have 11 rooms with a total of 43 beds. All rooms have their own toilet and shower. If you want to make your stay even more comfortable you can add a service package that includes sheets and cleaning after your stay.
Valbergsängen Sporthotell
Valbergsängen Sporthotell is a hotel in the center of Valbergets recreation area within walking distance of the ski tunnel. The newly built facilities with 94 rooms, house a total of 172 beds divided into 128 hostel beds and 44 hotel beds. Valbergsängen Sporthotell´s facilities also include a gym, conference rooms and a sauna.
Valbergsängen Restaurant
No recreation area is complete without a good restaurant. Our restaurant is located at Valbergsängen. At Valbergsängen Restaurant you can enjoy a delicious traditional swedish home cooked buffet. The buffet also include a salad buffet, bread, coffee/tea and ice cream for desert.
